Fast and Furious stars Ludacris and Jordana Brewster have opened up about how the late Paul Walker was honoured during the upcoming F9 movie.
Like the previous movies in the franchise, Paul’s character, Brian O’Conner, lives on in this one though doesn’t get involved in the group’s adventures.
And in an interview with SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle and Julia Cunningham, Ludacris explains that Paul’s daughter, Meadow, and brothers, Cody and Caleb, were constantly on set.

“His daughter being on set and his brothers being on set…consulting and telling us how they feel he can be incorporated, how his legacy can be incorporated. He’s present spiritually at all times and we miss him in the physical and in the spiritual. We believe that every day.”
Jordana adds that Paul’s character is a big part of her own, Mia Toretti.
“I think it’s a beautiful thing Brian is still alive in our universe. But also, I think Mia is representing him in a way, so I always want to do him right. So that is something I don’t take lightly.”
Paul died in a car crash in 2013.
