Cue the famous Home Alone scream – Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song are parents now!
The couple has welcomed their first child together, a son named Dakota Song Culkin, a tribute to Macaulay’s sister, Dakota, who passed away when she was 29 from injuries sustained after being hit by a car.
“The baby, born Monday, April 5 in Los Angeles weighed in at 6-pounds, 14-ounces and arrived in the world at 1.10pm. He is named in honour of Caulkin’s beloved sister Dakota, who passed away in 2008. Mother, father and baby are all healthy and happy,” a statement from the couple’s rep reads.
Macaulay and Brenda have been together since 2017 after meeting on Seth Green’s Changeland film in Thailand.
They both entered Hollywood as child stars – he was the cheeky Kevin McCallister from Home Alone and the lead in Richie Rich and she portrayed London Tipton on The Suite Life of Zach and Cody plus countless other Disney shows.
Both Macaulay and Brenda have been very private about their relationship, until last year when Macaulay opened up to Esquire about how they’ve been “trying” for a baby.
Fun times ahead!
