Madonna just got her very first tattoo.
In an Instagram post, the superstar (who is 62 years young FYI) shared a series of photos of the process captioning it, “Inked for The Very First Time” – which every Madonna fan knows is a reference to her 1984 global hit “Like A Virgin.”

The tattoo is on her left wrist in a typewriter font and features the letters L R D M S E – the initials of her six children, Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy, Stella and Estere.

She tagged the Shamrock Social Club tattoo studio, Hollywood in her post as well as tattoo artist East Iz who is well-known for his inking skills.

When she’s not partying or getting a tattoo, the Material Girl is working on a movie about her life which she’s set to co-write and direct.
