Congratulations are in order for Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara!
The singer and Spy Kids actor, who are already parents to 3-year-old son Riley, have announced the birth of their second child, a sweet baby boy:
“On July 1st (our 7 year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world,” they shared in a joint Instagram post.
“He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz… and sideways (transversal), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time! Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such a great care of us.”

Meghan and Daryl first met at a house party in 2014 before being set up by their famous pal, Chloë Moretz a few years later. It clearly went well because they tied the knot on Meghan’s 25th birthday in 2018!
She’s been very open about her pregnancy journeys and in her book, Dear Future Mama, released in April this year, Meghan details the emotional and mental health challenges she’s faced as a mum. Following Riley’s birth in 2021, she says she found herself crying “every night” for months and developed PTSD:
“I couldn’t go to sleep at night. I would be in tears and tell Daryl, ‘I’m still on that table dude. I’m trapped there. I can’t remind myself I’m in bed and I’m safe at home.'”
Meghan said she wrote her book to help other women: “I want to give future mamas permission to find the right path for them —without the judgment of others. I want this book to feel like a hug from a bestie.”
