Roboticist Grant Imahara, best known for hosting Mythbusters and Netflix’s White Rabbit Project, has died aged 49.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, he passed away after suffering a brain aneurysm.

His Mythbusters co-host Adam Savage has posted a message on Twitter remembering him:

“I’m at a loss. No words. I’ve been part of two big families with Grant Imahara over the last 22 years. Grant was a truly brilliant engineer, artist and performer, but also just such a generous, easygoing and gentle person. Working with Grant was so much fun. I’ll miss my friend.”

Imahara was an electrical engineer who specialised in animatronics and worked on a number of Star Wars films, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
