Yes, it’s true! Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup are married!
The beloved Aussie actor shared the happy news on her Instagram page on Sunday morning, posting a pic of herself in a long, lace Oscar de la Renta dress holding a bouquet of white flowers, with The Morning Show actor (and now husband!) beside her in a sleek, navy suit. They appear to be standing on the steps of a Manhattan courthouse.
“Hitched!” she captioned the photo.

In her Instagram stories, she shared a few more photos including a photo of the two of them smiling together with the word “Hubby” printed across the pic.
Naomi also posted a close-up of her flowers, captioning it, “Flowers from the deli!!”

It’s not clear how long the pair, who starred together in the Netflix series Gypsy back in 2017, have been together. They made their red carpet debut at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in February last year and Naomi celebrated Billy’s birthday with a post on Instagram last July, referring to him as “my love” – otherwise, they’ve been very private about their relationship.
Some tabloids unfortunately shared blurry, intrusive photos of Naomi and Billy on Saturday from the courthouse, jumping in instead of allowing the couple to share the news themselves, on their own terms.

Naomi was previously in a long-term relationship with actor and director Liev Shrieber. They share two children, 14-year-old Kai and 15-year-old Sasha. The pair parted ways in 2016.
Billy is also dad to 19-year-old son William Atticus Parker, whom he shares with his ex, Weeds star Mary Louise Parker.
More recently, Naomi has been busy with her platform Stripes, a wellness collaboration with beauty biotech company Amyris, which aims to help people understand and deal with perimenopause and menopause.
