Model Nickayla Rivera has found a beautiful way to honour her late sister Naya, one year on from her tragic death.
In a post shared to her Instagram stories, Nickayla showed her 159,000 followers a new tattoo on her arm.
It’s the outline of an angel with long hair, standing tall …and yes, it looks very much like her big sis.

Naya went missing after a boating trip on California’s Lake Piru with her then-4-year-old son Josey. He was found safe but Naya’s body was pulled from the waters five days later.
In a recent interview with Good Morning America, Nickayla said she and her family are taking each day as it comes:

“And taking that one day at a time, and living it to the fullest, loving each other to the fullest, and not regretting anything. Because I know if we could go back, we’d hug a little bit harder.”
Naya’s Glee co-star and good friend Heather Morris also got a special tattoo of one of Naya’s last tweets: “tomorrow is not promised.”
