S Club 7 Shares Words of Love for Late Bandmate & Friend Paul Cattermole

S Club 7 is remembering their bandmate and good friend, Paul Cattermole. 

The singer, who was 46 years old, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Dorset, south-west England. His family shared the sad news in a statement explaining his “cause of death is currently unknown” however authorities have confirmed “there were no suspicious circumstances.”

In a statement on social media, S Club 7 members Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett said they were “truly devastated by the passing of our brother, Paul”. The group had recently announced a 25th anniversary reunion tour, which Paul was to take part in.

“There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel,” their message continues.

“We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.”

S Club 7 was formed in 1998 by Simon Fuller, who was also behind the Spice Girls. They had a number of hits including “Reach” and “Don’t Stop Movin'”
