Sara Bareilles is starting the New Year with some huge news!
The Grammy-winning singer has announced she’s engaged to long-time partner, actor Joe Tippett.
“Yes to marrying this man,” she posted on Instagram alongside a photo of the two of them looking at each other rather adoringly.

“It’s an easy, earned, relaxed YES. @joetipps you are exactly who I want. The more I know you, the more I know I love you… and you have introduced me to parts of myself I was afraid to love. And now I love ME more because of you.”
Sara jokingly adds, “so really this is all about me. Just kidding,” before ending her message, bursting with love and excitement for all that is to come:
“What a gift you are. Let the games begin. Onward into absolutely everything with you.”
Sarah and Joe met back in 2007 when they were both working on the film Waitress. According to a 2019 Insta post celebrating “three years” (which Sara jokingly said felt like “three hundred”), the pair began dating in 2016.
