Gordon Ramsay’s family just got a little bigger!
The celebrity chef has announced on Instagram that he and wife, broadcaster and author Tana Ramsay, have welcomed another baby. Their sweet bundle of joy is named Jesse James.
“What an amazing birthday present,” Gordon, who recently celebrated his birthday on November 8, captioned a series of photos of their newborn having skin-to-skin time with Tana. “Please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs, 10oz whopper.”
So how many children do Tana and Gordon have now, you might be wondering?
That would be six!
“One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls… Done.”
They’re also parents to 25-year-old Megan, 23-year-old twins Holly and Jack, 22-year-old Matilda and 4-year-old Oscar.

Tana shared the news on her Instagram page too, writing, “It’s been a nerve wracking 9 months but we’ve made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle. Ramsay family definitely complete. Jesse James Ramsay we love you so much.”
Gordon did kind of, sort of, hint earlier this year that their family might be growing. During an appearance on the U.K.’s Heart Breakfast radio show, the Hell’s Kitchen host told the presenters, “Last time I looked there were five, yes. I think there’s one more on the way.”
And he didn’t elaborate much after that, adding that he didn’t actually know if Tana was pregnant again.
“Tana would like another baby,” he said at the time.
Their beautiful news comes after the couple experienced pregnancy loss in 2016. In a post on Instagram earlier this year, Tana reflected on their loss:
“A happy picture of us taken celebrating Megan’s 18th birthday. I was just under 20 weeks pregnant. Little did we know a few days later I would be holding our little boy Rocky – born with a strong heartbeat but too little to survive.”
She continued, “Although it’s 7 years today, it still feels like yesterday. We all miss you everyday. We love you Rocky, forever in our hearts. I couldn’t do this without my family. You are all everything to me.”
