Taylor Lautner and Taylor Dome are married!
The Twilight alum has confirmed the happy news, sharing photos of their special day on Instagram.
He simply captioned the pic “Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Lautner” – and yes, Mr Taylor previously stated Mrs Taylor would be taking on his last name, so we’ll have two Taylor Lautners soon!
The couple, who met through the actor’s sister Makena, tied the knot in a sunset ceremony at the Epoch Estate Winery in California in front of 100 close family and friends (as per Vogue, who published photos of their wedding.)
Speaking to the magazine, Taylor explained the beautiful reason behind the butterfly detail on her Winnie Couture dress and the butterfly earrings:
“Aside from the growth, transformation and comfort that butterflies symbolise. My nana and I have always had a deep love for butterflies. My nana’s mum passed away at a young age, and she always told my nana she would come back as a white butterfly to watch over and protect her. To this day, my nana and I always have white butterflies around. The day before the wedding, I was out at lunch and white butterfly literally landed on me. I was blown away and felt so comforted.”
Taylor and Taylor got engaged on November 11 last year after going public with their relationship in 2018. They met while the actor was taking a mini-break from the spotlight and she was studying nursing. She’s now a registered nurse, a mental health advocate and the founder of blog Lemons by Tay.
