Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling has shared a sweet throwback from her 18th birthday and an even sweeter story about fellow cast mate and friend Luke Perry to go with it.
The photo, posted on Tori’s Instagram, shows her blowing out the candles on her cake while Luke stands behind her.
“Not every 18 year old girl has Luke Perry holding their hair back as they blow out their birthday candles,” Tori captions the pic.

“This picture embodies the kindness, love and friendship of my beloved friend Luke. He made this young 18 year old girl, struggling with confidence issues feel like a Princess on her birthday. An evening I’ll never forget,” she continues.
“Btw, anyone that had the privilege of knowing Luke knows he made everyone feel special. He was just that amazing human. One we lost too soon.”

She ends her post by urging her fans to “cherish every moment and those close to you for as long as you have them in your life.”
Luke, who rose to fame as Dylan Mckay in the hit 90s series Beverly Hills 90210 alongside Tori and starred as Fred Andrews in the current Riverdale series, passed away suddenly in March 2019 after suffering a stroke.
After his death, Luke’s friends and colleagues shared countless stories about his kindness.
