Beetlejuice 2, the sequel every Tim Burton fan has been waiting for, is officially in the works, and yes, we even have a release date!
Warner Bros. confirmed the news to multiple outlets today, with the movie set for release in September 2024.
Details about the film are being kept under wraps for now however Variety confirms Michael Keaton will return in the title role, Winona Ryder will return as Lydia Deetz and some new faces will be joining the fun too including Wednesday star Jenna Ortega and actor Justin Theroux, though we don’t know for sure who they’ll be playing just yet.

Brad Pitt’s Plan B productions is producing the movie.
The original Beetlejuice film, a horror comedy classic, came out in 1988 and also starred Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Catherine O’Hara.
