Britney Spears’ 2002 Film ‘Crossroads’ Returning to Screens For Global Fan Event!

Crossroads, the 2002 coming-of-age film starring Britney Spears, is about to return to theatres around the world!

The movie, which was Britney’s first feature film role, is being re-released on October 23 and 25, to coincide with the publication of her memoir, The Woman in Me.

Crossroads, also starring Taryn Manning, Zoe Saldaña, Kim Cattrall, Dan Aykroyd and Anson Mount, is about three childhood friends, Lucy, Kit and Mimi, who reunite at their high school graduation, find their “wish box” and ultimately end up on an epic road trip across the U.S.

“I recently rewatched Crossroads and was so enthralled with the time capsule of nostalgia that this incredible ensemble cast brings to the screen,” director Tamra Davis said in a statement (as per Billboard). “Britney is absolutely breathtaking to watch, and Shonda (Rhimes) is showing us her early expertise in writing complicated female characters.”

And who could forget all the great music too, like “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman”!

The re-release will be available in 24 countries including Australia (woohoo!).

So how do you get tickets, you might be wondering? They’ll go on sale from September 28. Check out crossroadsfanevent.com for more information.
