Lindsay Lohan has a new movie in the works!
The Mean Girls icon is set to return to our screens for a new holiday rom-com called Our Little Secret. Netflix has announced the movie will be about “two resentful exes, forced to spend Christmas under the same roof after discovering that their current partners are siblings.”
I don’t know about you, but I’m hooked already!
Lindsay will star alongside Emmy and Tony Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth, as well as Tim Meadows, Ian Harding, Jon Rudnitsky, Dan Bucatinsky, Henry Czerny, Katie Baker and more. The project will be directed by Stephen Herek and written by Hailey DeDemonicis.
We don’t have any further details at this stage.
Our Little Secret is part of Lindsay’s creative partnership with the streaming service. In 2022, it was announced the actor would star in three Netflix projects. The first was Falling for Christmas, also a holiday rom-com which was released in December that year, where Lindsay played a newly engaged hotel heiress who gets into a skiing accident, suffers amnesia and finds herself falling for a lodge owner who takes her in.

The second, Irish Wish, is due to be released on March 15, 2024. Per the logline, “When the love of her life gets engaged to her best-friend, Maddie (Lindsay Lohan) puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realises thar her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”
Lindsay most recently made a cameo in the new Mean Girls film starring Reneé Rapp, Angourie Rice and Avantika Vandanapu.
And on top of all her professional projects, it’s been a busy few years for Lindsay personally too. She moved her life to Dubai, tied the knot with local financier Bader Shammas and they became parents to baby Luai.
