The hit drama which followed the lives of a group of gangsters in the early 20th century, ran for six seasons. It aired between 2013 and 2022 and there’s been talk of a spinoff movie of some sort ever since!

The series also starred Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Kate Phillips as Linda Shelby, Finn Cole as Michael Gray, Anya Taylor-Joy as Gina Gray, Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons and more. Netflix is yet to confirm who else might be reprising their roles for the film but hopefully we’ll find out soon because production is due to start later this year.

Meanwhile, it’s already been a big year for Cillian Murphy who won the Best Actor Award at the Oscars for his role in the 2023 blockbuster Oppenheimer. He’s next due to appear in a sequel to 28 Days Later.
