Ariana Grande Teams Up With “Lifelong Inspiration” Mariah Carey For Remix

Ariana Grande has announced a collaboration with music legend Mariah Carey!

The singer revealed a remix of “Yes, And?” will be out this Friday, February 16 ahead of the release of her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine on March 8 – and yes, Ms. Carey will be featuring on the track.

“I cannot believe the words I am typing,” Ariana wrote in a post announcing the news.

“Yes, And? Remix feat the one and only, queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration @mariahcarey is out this friday!!!!!!!!!! There truly are no words that suffice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song.”

Ariana continued, “It means more to me than I could ever possibly articulate and I cannot wait for everyone to hear this! I love you eternally!!!!!!”

Mariah is equally thrilled about the collaboration, writing on her Instagram stories: “Darling angel, I am so effing excited to be joining you on the ‘Yes, And?’ remix!!! This is such a magical moment. Love you MC.”

This isn’t the first time the two queens have worked together though. Back in 2020, both women joined Jennifer Hudson for an updated version of “Oh Santa!” and last year, Ariana made an appearance during Mariah Carey’s holiday special at Madison Square Garden where they performed the song together.

As for Ariana’s track “Yes, And?” – it debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 after its release a few weeks ago and is the only single she plans on releasing from her upcoming album.

“As hard as it is to resist the urge to share another song or single with you all asap, I would really love for you to experience the album in full this time,” she posted in an Insta story, adding that “we may have a little surprise or two up our sleeves to hold you over until then so don’t you worry.”

On top of releasing an album, Ariana is also starring as Glinda in the new Wicked movie which will be released later this year.
