Beyoncé Makes History Topping Billboard’s Country Music Charts

Beyoncé is making history once again – this time, she has become the first-ever Black woman to top Billboard’s country music charts!

According to the publication, the music icon’s newest release “Texas Hold ‘Em” reached the top spot, replacing Zach Bryan and Kasey Musgraves’ “I Remember Everything” which had been comfortably sitting at No. 1 for the last 20 weeks!

Beyoncé’s song is also No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 while her other newly released single “16 Carriages” is sitting at No. 9.

The songs, which were released on February 11 after *that* epic Super Bowl ad, are part of her next album, Act II which is due to be released March 29.

The 32-time GRAMMY winner is also the first female artist in history to claim the top spot on both Billboard’s Hot Country Songs charts and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (“since the lists began as all-encompassing genre song charts in October 1958.”) She joins Morgan Wallen, Justin Beiber, Ray Charles and Billy Ray Cyrus as the only artists to achieve this.

And that’s not all. (We’re talking about Beyoncé here so of course there’s more.)

She is also the first artist who has scored No.1’s throughout her career across the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Hot Gospel Songs, Hot Latin Songs, Hot R&B Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. No other musician has topped that combination of rankings before!

Meanwhile, the superstar has been busy with another project too – her very own hair care line Cécred!

In a post on Instagram earlier this month, the musician told her 319 million fans, “Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb 20.” She also shared a clip of a projected video showing throwbacks from the 90s of her mother Tina Knowles’ salon. It included current footage of Beyoncé herself too and others getting their hair washed, brushed and styled.

Cécred is officially out in the world now and includes every product you could imagine from shampoo and conditioner to styling tools, treatments, hair oils and more.
