We can spend the holidays with Cher this year – she’s announced her first Christmas album is coming!
In a post on Instagram, the 77-year-old music icon shared with her 2.6 million followers what appears to be the album cover for her new project. She’s wearing bejewelled jeans and a white shirt, and of course she’s surrounded by festive baubles.
“Are you spending Christmas with me?” she captioned the photo.

She also shared a second photo where she’s dressed in a sparkling silver dress with a winter-white scene in the background. And she’s swapped her signature long black hair for platinum blonde locks instead.
“Christmas already? But I’ve got nothing to wear,” she captioned it.

A third cover was also shared over on Cher’s official store. In this one, she’s back to her jeans and white shirt but surrounded by a colourful sunset and splashing around in water.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain earlier this month, Cher teased a holiday album featuring collaborations with other big names:
“I’m really, really excited because there’s millions of people on it, and I’ve never had duets. I’ve never had people on any of my records.”
The artists’ names haven’t been revealed just yet and we don’t have an official release date either but you can pre-order the album now! This will mark the superstar’s 27th studio album.

Cher recently announced another project too – Cherlato Gelato!
“Yep, this is real,” she captioned a video on social media in July showing a colourful ice-cream truck with multiple graphics of her holding up a cone.
“I’m launching my gelato… Watch out LA! All started five years ago and now it’s finally HAPPENING.”

According to the Cherlato Gelato Instagram account, the treats are created by New Zealand-based creator, Giapo.
“A few years ago, Cher met Giapo,” a post reads, “and together, the pair brainstormed, taste-tested, experimented and eventually conceived Cherlato – the boldest and coldest gelato creations LA has ever had.”
