Filmmaker, actor and our favourite human-in-progress, Justin Baldoni, has teamed up with journalist and masculinity expert Liz Plank and longtime collaborator and BFF, Jamey Heath, to bring us a new project!
The trio is launching The Man Enough Podcast, dropping weekly episodes with some big names (hello Shawn Mendes, Glennon Doyle and Matthew McConaughey) which will further explore the dialogue around masculinity and what it means to be enough in a world that constantly says otherwise.
In a video posted on Instagram, Justin shared a powerful montage of the various interviews and let’s just say, this is going to be deep. And yes, like all of Justin’s projects, it’s probably a good idea to keep that tissue box handy.

“So we’ve been secretly recording for weeks (so hard to keep a surprise) and I’m so excited to announce that it officially launches next Monday, June 21!!” he captions the video.
“Everyone has been willing to go deep and take that journey from our head to our heart and our greatest hope is that it invites you to do the same; to learn with us in real time and to increase our capacity for compassion and connection.”

This podcast is the logical next step for Justin who released his first book earlier this year, Man Enough: Undefining My Masculinity and already has an unscripted YouTube series of the same name.
Oh and there’s that 2017 TED Talk that’s now been viewed more than *checks notes* 7 million times.
It’s all part of a deal between Wayfarer Studios, a purpose-driven creative and financial engine co-founded by Justin and Steve Sarowitz, and Proctor & Gamble Studios, who are also all about sharing stories that uplift and inspire.
In fact, the deal will also see the two organisations financing and co-producing other projects across film, TV and digital media together.
“We are so excited to join forces, and hearts, with the incredible team at P&G on this first-of-its-kind partnership,” Justin says in a statement.
“As we continue to create media that amplifies the human spirit and serves as a catalyst for positive social change, we can’t think of a better way to kick off this partnership than by bringing The Man Enough Podcast into the world.”
Other guests include Justin’s wife, Emily Baldoni, and his dad, Sam – judging by the promo, that’s the one you’ll need the tissues for.
The first episode of The Man Enough Podcast is coming June 21.
