Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are using their platforms to raise funds for the people of Ukraine following the Vladimir Putin-led Russian invasion of the country.
The Hollywood couple has announced they’ve set up a GoFundMe page which will benefit two organisations providing immediate relief to those fleeing the country – Flexport.org which is organising shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova and Airbnb.org which is providing free short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine.

They’re hoping to raise $30 million, having already contributed $2.5 million and offering to match up to $3 million in donations.
“The events that have unfolded in Ukraine are devastating. There is no place in this world for this kind of unjust attack on humanity,” Mila who was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983 says in a video posted on social media.

“And while we witness the bravery of the people of the country that she was born in, we also witness to the needs of those who have chosen safety,” Ashton adds.
“We’re raising funds for a relief effort that will have immediate impact and will provide much needed refugee and humanitarian aid to the area. The principal challenge right now is logistics. We need to get housing and we need to get supplies and resources into the area.”
