When it comes to representation on the catwalk, we know Rihanna is going to deliver – and Volume 3 of the Savage X Fenty lingerie show did not disappoint!
The all-star lineup featured models and performers of various race, size, gender and ability.
We’re talking Indigenous model Quannah Chasinghorse, Egyptian-born actor Mena Massoud, South Sudanese-British model and designer Alex Wek, trans performer and make-up artist Gottmik, Filipina social media star Bella Poarch, dancer and body positivity advocate Amanda Lacount, Palestinian-Dutch model Gigi Hadid, model and double amputee Lauren Wasser, Korean-American model Soo Joo Park and so many more.
“You can never be inclusive enough. There is always someone that you didn’t represent,” she tells Entertainment Tonight in a pre-show interview, describing how every year, she tries to ensure more people feel seen.
And it’s this very idea that representation can be infinite, that there is no one person of a particular race or size who could possibly represent all, and this very attitude that there’s always more to do, that makes Rihanna the trailblazer that she is.
The brand itself has always been about making everybody (or “everyBODY” as they say on their website) feel good about themselves and offers sizing ranges of 32 to 46, A-H cups and XS to XXXL.
