MEGAN THEE STALLION DROPS SELF-LOVE MESSAGE AT THE AMAs

Megan Thee Stallion has taken the stage at the 2020 American Music Awards and girl, did she have an important message about self-love to share with us all!

The rap star, who performed “Body” from her latest album “Good News”, delivered a pre-recorded message before appearing for her number:

“I love my body. Every curve, every inch. Every mark. Every dimple,” she begins.

It’s decoration on my temple. My body is mine and nobody owns it but me. And whoever I choose to let in is so lucky,” she continues.

“You may not think my body is perfect and it probably never will be. But when I look in the mirror, I love what I see. So are you ready?”

She then hit the stage with her signature dance moves and powerful lyrics.

Megan won the Favourite Song Award in the Rap/Hip Hip category for “WAP” with Cardi B.

In her acceptance speech, she thanked her fans and the important women in her life:

“First of all, hey y’all! Thank you, everybody from me and Cardi. Thank you to all the people that supported, all the people that showed love. We super appreciate it. And just thank you God. Thank you Mama. I know you’re watching over me. And thank you grandma for watching from home.”

Taylor Swift was named Artist of The Year, Doja Cat won New Artist of the Year and the Collab of the Year went to Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber for their song “10,000 Hours.”
