Blake Lively’s Betty Booze Lands Sparkling Collab with Chef Daniel Boulud

Blake Lively may be one of the biggest talents in entertainment, but she’s also making waves (or shall we say, a buzz?) in the culinary world – Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud is the latest to give Blake’s non-alcoholic drinks line Betty Buzz (and her alcoholic sister, Betty Booze) a stamp of approval, and now the two are collaborating on a delicious new project!

Not only will the canned mocktails and cocktails be available in chef Boulud’s iconic New York City restaurants (Jōji Box, Blue Box Cafe and Épicerie) but you’ll also be able to enjoy an omakase box at Jōji Box, curated by Blake herself. It consists of fresh sushi pieces handpicked by the actor, paired with one of her Betty Booze cocktails.

The news comes after the pair released the most divine campaign video on social media. Shot in Boulud’s Restaurant DANIEL, Blake is seen pouring her heart and soul into cooking up a meal in the kitchen, using only the freshest ingredients. She nervously presents her creation – her Betty Booze collection – to Boulud and with just one sip, he is transported to a place of pure joy. There’s certainly a wholesome Ratatouille-quality to the clip and yes, as the viewer, you’re left with a full heart, and undeniable urge to experience that joy too:

Blake first entered the beverage business in 2021 when she launched Betty Buzz: “Over the past many years of mixing but not drinking cocktails, it became clear mixers are the unsung heroes of the drink world and deserve just as much love as alcohol,” she explained at the time.

Betty Booze was clearly the next logical step in growing the business, but also a sweet testament to Blake herself – a considerate host who makes sure her guests’ alcoholic desires are catered to!

And as for the brand name “Betty”… there’s a sweet story behind that too.

“My dad’s name was Ernest Brown Jr. but he was known as Ernie Lively,” she previously said of her father, who passed away in June, 2021.

“He gave up his last name when he married my mom and any success he, or I, have experienced has been in a name that isn’t his. So when I was working hard to build this company, I wanted any success to be in a name that was meaningful to him. Betty was his mom and his sister’s name,” Blake explained, jokingly adding, “Also, Ernie would not be the best name for a mixer.”

So where can you buy Blake Lively’s Betty Buzz and Betty Booze drinks? They’re currently available at stores across the US, or you can order online through Amazon.com.
