According to an official synopsis from Hulu, “they set out on a wild cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona-fide gameshow champion.”

Is that really Dr Christina Yang from Grey’s Anatomy who has transformed into a cocaine-stashing, flirty, wild big sis, you may be wondering? Why yes, yes it is!

Quiz Lady also stars Will Ferrell, Holland Taylor, Tony Hale and Jason Schwartzman.

It will stream exclusively on Hulu from November 3 – and honestly, November 3 can’t come soon enough!

Pssst…. did you hear? Meg Ryan is returning to the rom-com world!

Meg Ryan and David Duchovny are former flames trapped in an airport, in the newly released trailer for What Happens Later.

Now this is huge news because hello, rom-com legend Meg Ryan is officially back after an 8-year hiatus! She’s also directing the film and serving as a co-writer.

According to Bleecker Street Films, we can expect “a swoon-worthy story of old flames rekindled amidst the magic of missed connections.”

So what’s the movie about exactly? Well, the film, based on Steven Dietz’s play, Shooting Star, follows the story of exes Willa and Bill, who bump into each other after their flights get snowed in.

“Indefinitely delayed, Willa, a magical thinker, and Bill, a catastrophic one, find themselves just as attracted to – and annoyed by – one another as they did decades earlier,” the official synopsis reads.

“But as they unpack the riddle of their mutual past and compare their lives to wonder if their reunion is mere coincidence, or something more enchanted.”

Sounds hilarious and delightful. And did I mention, MEG RYAN IS BACK PEOPLE?

Speaking about her new project with Entertainment Weekly,  the actor says, “there’s a question of: Will they be together? Will they not be together? For that reason, [What Happens Later] sort of evolves the rom-com genre just a little bit. It’s also about old people, and it’s still romantic and sexy.”

Meg famously starred in a series of rom-coms in the late 80s and 90s including When Harry met Sally, You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle. This will be her first time back on-screen since her 2015 directorial debut, Ithaca, while David, best known for his roles in The X-Files and Californication, is involved in a number of projects including Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, Adam the First and Truly Like Lightning which are yet to set release dates.

We won’t have to wait too long for What Happens Later though. It’s due to be released on October 13.
