The official trailer for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 is here… and where do I even begin people?
Not only do we see Conrad upset with Belly… and Jeremiah upset with Belly… and Stephen upset with Belly… but we also get to hear Taylor Swift’s re-recorded version of ‘Back To December’ from her soon-to-be-released album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)!
So much emotion in just two minutes and 52 seconds!

The season 2 trailer, which begins with a recap of “last summer” feeling like a dream for Belly, also gives us a sneak peek of her new and rather complicated journey ahead – making things right at Cousins Beach once again.
“When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah’s beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together – and to decide once and for all where her heart lies,” the logline from Prime Video reads.
This season sees the original cast of Lola Tung, Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno back again, along with new cast members Kyra Sedgwick and Elsie Fisher.

The series is adapted from the best-selling books by Jenny Han, who will serve as showr-unner alongside others. In a post on Instagram unveiling the trailer, Jenny says she feels honoured to have Taylor Swift on board:
“Thank you @taylorswift for giving us the gift of your music.”
So when do we get to watch Belly and her crew in Season 2? It”s all being released on Prime Video on Friday, July 14. We’ll get to binge three episodes that day with weekly episodes coming after.
