Get set to go back to the 80s and 90s with The Super Models documentary coming to Apple TV+!
The streamer has released a teaser for the four-part series featuring icons Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista, and set a release date of September 20.
According to Apple TV+, we can expect “unprecedented access to the models” as we’re taken behind the cameras and catwalks “revealing how they dominated the elite modelling world while illuminating a bond that single-heartedly shifted the power dynamic of an entire industry.”
“Already forces in their own right, the gravitas they achieved by coming together transcended the industry itself. Their prestige was so extraordinary that it enabled the four to supersede the brands they showcased, making the names Naomi, Cindy, Linda and Christy as prominent as the designers who styled them,” the release continues.
“Today, the four supermodels remain on the frontline of culture through activism, philanthropy and business prowess. As the fashion industry continues to redefine itself – and women’s roles within it – this is the ultimate story of power and how four women came together to claim it, paving the way for those to follow.”
The women also serve as executive producers for the series.

In a 2022 interview with British Vogue, Naomi, who was a new mum at the time, shared some insight into the show: “It’s about our life and time together, our friendship, careers, our womanhood, our motherhood.”
The supermodel recently welcomed her second child, a baby boy whose name she hasn’t shared publicly.
“My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A true gift from God” she captioned an image of her family-of-three.
