When it comes to supporting women in music, Taylor Swift is always there – and this week was certainly no exception when she shared some love for long-time friend and fellow superstar Selena Gomez!
Taylor, who is currently in Mexico for her Eras tour, took to Instagram to shoutout Selena’s new song, “Single Soon”, which was released on August 25.
“WHEN UR BESTIE IS THE BESTEST,” Taylor posted to her stories, captioning a reel of Selena’s music video.
“WILL BE DANCING TO THIS FOREVER METHINKS.”

The upbeat track is about Selena breaking up with someone, and feeling liberated and happy with who she is in the aftermath. “Should I do it on the phone?/ Should I leave a little note?”
In the music clip, we see her dressed in a glamorous mini dress, having fun with her friends post-breakup.
Selena surprised fans, announcing the new track last week and also teased her third album: “Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer.”
She last released Rare in 2020 and her all-Spanish EP, Revalación, in 2021.

As for Taylor, this is what she does! She cheers on her sisters in the music industry and celebrates their achievements.
