Antoni Porowski to Explore Celebs’ Family Food Stories in Nat Geo Docuseries

Antoni Porowski is embarking on his next epic food adventure – and this time, the Queer Eye star will be joining the Nat Geo family!

The beloved TV personality, known for his food and wine expertise, will lead a new docuseries titled No Taste Like Home, where he’ll explore the heritage of celebrities through their family food stories, traditions and techniques.

“Food is such an integral part of understanding who we are and where we come from,” Antoni said in a release.

“I am so grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, alongside some wonderful friends both new and old, travelling the globe, making up for all the times I skipped geography class in high school to explore food traditions and cultures, and am honoured to embark on this journey with National Geographic.”

The project, from Gordon Ramsay’s production company, Studio Ramsay, will see Antoni travel through South Korea, Germany, Italy, Senegal, Malaysian Borneo, New York and Texas. And he won’t be doing it alone….

No Taste Like Home is a fascinating, feel-good series that will beautifully thread together family food stories from past and present,” Gordon said.

“I’m really thankful to our celebrities who came on this journey, taking us to all corners of the globe, inviting us into their lives and trusting us to tell their family’s food stories in this way.”

As for who these celebrities are exactly? We don’t know yet, but Antoni will reveal the names on social media in the lead-up to the series release, which is yet to be set!

“Antoni is the perfect person to take Nat Geo viewers – and our famous faces – on these global adventures,” Tom McDonald, executive vice president of Global Factual and Unscripted Content at National Geographic said.

“He’s full of curiosity about the world, is deeply passionate and knowledgeable about culinary history, and has a unique ability to draw out the emotional connection between people, places and food.”

After sharing news of his new project on social media, Antoni was bombarded with messages of support, including one from fellow Queer Eye star Tan France who commented, “I’m so happy for you, and proud of you my love!”
