AFC Richmond fans, it’s happening!
Apple TV+ has announced Season 3 of its Emmy-winning comedy Ted Lasso is coming this year. While they didn’t give an exact date, the streaming service said it would be in Spring (US) 2023… which is Autumn for us Aussie folks… which is only two months away!
They’ve also shared a first look at the new season (as above) showing Jason Sudeikis as Ted and Nick Mohammed as Nathan, facing each other – Nate looking tense and Ted smiling, of course.
The big question of course is whether this will be the final season of the popular TV series but we don’t have an answer for that yet. Apple TV+ hasn’t released any further information besides these words from creator Bill Lawrence who spoke at the Television Critics Association’s winter 2023 press tour:
“I’ve seen cuts, and it’s f***ing amazing.”
I believe Malala Yousafzai, Nobel Peace laureate and fellow Ted Lasso fan, says it best in the comments of a post announcing the news: “can’t wait!”
Neither can we!
