Daniel Dae Kim has a villainous new gig!

He’s joined Netflix’s live action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender and will play Fire Lord Ozai, the father of Prince Zuko and Princess Azula.

The streaming service made the announcement on Twitter describing his character as “the ruthlessly-driven leader of the Fire Nation!”

Daniel also confirmed the news on his Insta sharing a gif of the animated Fire Lord with the caption, “it’s gettin’ hot in here…”
