Entire Cast of ‘Scott Pilgrim’ to Reunite for Anime Series!

Attention: fans of Scott Pilgrim vs the World!

Netflix has announced the entire cast of the live-action movie will reunite for the upcoming Scott Pilgrim anime series!

“This is not a drill! This is happening!” director and executive producer Edgar Wright tweeted, also confirming the news.

“After much musing over the years about there being potential for an anime adaptation of ‘Scott Pilgrim’, I’m thrilled to say one is IMMINENT, with the whole cast back together and… you are going to lose your minds.”

Rumours had been swirling about a possible anime series since 2020 and Netflix officially announced it would be happening two years later, in 2022. The original cast featured some big names including Chris Evans, Michael Cera, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza, Brie Larson, Mae Whitman and more.

“One of the proudest and most enjoyable achievements of my career was assembling and working with the dynamite cast of Scott Pilgrim,” Wright continues.

“Since the film’s release in 2010, we’ve done Q&A’s, remembrances and charity read throughs, but there was never the occasion to reunite the whole gang on an actual project. Until now… You are in for a TREAT.”
