Netflix has confirmed teen drama Heartbreak High has been renewed for a second season.
The Aussie show, a reboot of the iconic 90s program of the same name, has been a global hit since airing on September 14. According to the streaming service, it’s remained in Netflix’s Top 10 in Australia since then and reached the Top 10 in more than 43 countries around the world.
The series stars Ayesha Madon, Asher Yasbincek, Josh Heuston, James Majoos, Chloe Hayden and more.
In a post on Instagram Chloe who portrays Quinni, shares her gratitude for the millions of people who’ve been watching: “I am so excited I can not stop crying. Thank you thank you thank you for loving our show.”
Production on the new season will begin in Sydney soon.
