James Pickens Jr. Welcomes the New Interns of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Paging all Grey’s Anatomy fans: there are some new faces at Grey Sloan Memorial!

Actor James Pickens Jr. who portrays the much-admired Dr. Richard Webber on the series, has shared a first look at the five new surgical interns who’ll be joining the team for the upcoming season – in their scrubs of course.

“Let’s give a warm welcome to the new interns of the Grey’s family, excited for season 19,” he posted on Instagram.

Among the new faces (from L-R) is Niko Terho who’ll play Lucas Adams, Adelaide Kane as Jules Millin, Midori Francis as Mika Yasuda, Harry Shum Jr. as Daniel Kwan and Alexis Floyd as Simone Griffin.

Ellen Pompeo who plays lead Meredith Grey, will be appearing in only 8 out of 20-plus episodes as she works on a currently untitled series for Hulu. And as for the rest of the cast? We’re going to have to wait until Season 19 airs to find out who survived *that* Season 18 ending.
