John Krasinski Launches “Some Good News” YouTube Channel

John Krasinski’s been spending his time in isolation figuring out how to spread some positivity in the world and he’s come up with the perfect solution.

The actor has launched “Some Good News” – a series on YouTube dedicated to just good news.

The first episode which featured an interview with Office co-star Steve Carrell, hit number 1 on the site on Monday and has since garnered over 6 million views!

“For years now, I’ve been wondering, why is there not a news show dedicated entirely to good news?” he asks. (We’ve been wondering the same!)

“Well, desperately seeking my fix somewhere else, I reached out to all of you this week, asking – nay, begging – for some good news,” Krasinski continues.

“After reading those replies and the incredibly heartwarming stories that came with them, I thought ‘All right. Enough is enough, world. Why not us? Why not now?'”

The first episode shares heart-warming stories about people working in health care and loved ones impacted by the coronavirus pandemic as well as an interview with a young cancer survivor named Coco who finished her final chemo treatment and was welcomed home with a social-distancing parade!
