After 8 seasons of sassiness, laughter and some rather dramatic moments, Lisa Rinna has announced she’s leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – for good.
Sharing a statement with People, the 59-year-old says she’s grateful for being part of the popular Bravo show for so long:
“This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in this series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”
The publication shared that both Lisa and Bravo mutually agreed not to renew her contract for the upcoming 13th season.
Lisa joined the show back in 2014, in its fifth season where she had that mega fight with co-star Kim Richards. (You may recall a wine glass being hurled across the table?) There have been a number of other memorable outbursts with other cast members over the years too (Yolanda Hadid and Denise Richards just to name a few), but even more so than all the drama, Lisa’s self-deprecating humour and her catch phrase, “just own it”, made her quite the standout with viewers.
Though she certainly wasn’t always positively received (looking at you, mayhem of Season 12), one thing we do know is that it certainly won’t be the same without her…
