‘Love Actually’ Cast to Reunite for 20th Anniversary TV Special

If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling that love, actually, is all around – At least it will be next week when the ABC Network airs a TV special marking the 20th anniversary of everyone’s favourite Christmas classic Love, Actually!

Yes, I know. 20 whole years since the Prime Minister fell for Natalie, Mark let Juliet know she was “perfect” to him and Billy Mack reached Christmas icon status. How can it possibly be?

According to a release from ABC, the special will “look at how the film became a beloved Christmas tradition and a global sensation, with new insight into behind-the-scenes secrets and iconic scenes.”

And in a promo clip shared by ABC’s 20/20 program on Twitter, host Diane Sawyer can be seen asking the cast to fill in the sentence “Love actually is” to which Hugh Grant hilariously answers, “Dead!”

Fellow stars Laura Linney, Emma Thompson, Bill Nighy and Thomas Brodie-Sangster will be taking part too. Writer and director Richard Curtis is set to make an appearance along with Olivia Olsen who famously portrayed young singer Joanna – the one who absolutely smashed Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You.

This is certainly going to be fun!

The special, The Laughter & Secrest of ‘Love Actually’: 20 Years Later” will air at 8 p.m. (ET) on November 29 on ABC. No word yet on how or when we’ll be able to watch it in Australia. Check out the trailer below:
