The highly anticipated docuseries about The Duke and Duchess of Sussex now has a release date!
Volume one of Harry & Meghan, will air on Netflix on December 8, with Volume two released a week later, on December 15.
The streaming service shared a first look at it all, posting a teaser earlier this week featuring black-and-white photos of the couple, and a full trailer today:
In a voiceover, Prince Harry refers to “the pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy,” as images of Princess Diana and Catherine, Princess of Wales appear on the screen.
Meghan adds, “I realised, they’re never going to protect you.”
“No one knows the full truth,” Harry continues. “We know the full truth.”
The 6-part series comes from Oscar-nominated director Liz Garbus and according to Netflix, will explore Meghan and Harry’s “early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution.”
The series will include commentary from friends, family, journalists and historians as well as interviews with the Duke and Duchess too.
