Devi and her crew from Sherman Oaks will be back on our screens very soon!
Netflix has confirmed the fourth and final season of the popular teen series Never Have I Ever will drop on June 8: “Senior year starts this summer.” Well, winter for those of us in the southern hemisphere. But the point is, we have less than two months to go!
In a short trailer, tennis legend and the show’s regular voiceover John McEnroe says Devi Vishwakumar, the “ivy-league chasing horn-dog,” will return to high school with her friends for one final year:
“Buckle up nerds, it’s senior freaking year!”
You might remember, Season 3 ended with Devi (portrayed by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), deciding to stay on at Sherman Oaks over Shrubland School to be with her mum, Nalini (portrayed by Poorna Jagannathan). Paxton (played by Darren Barnet) is heading to college in Arizona, which leaves Devi’s good mates Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez).
Oh and of course, there’s Devi’s frenemy turned love interest, Ben (Jaren Lewison).
No word yet on the plot but the trailer did hint at a new character played by Love, Victor’s Michael Camino – perhaps a new crush for Devi?
In an interview with People, Jaren says we have a lot to look forward to in this final season: “Season 4 is the most hilarious, heartwarming, witty, beautiful creation that I’ve ever been a part of.”
