Well, this is guaranteed to be a hoot!
Almost a decade after Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson teamed up for HBO’s True Detective, they’re re-uniting onscreen – this time for an Apple TV+ comedy series. It doesn’t have a title yet but according to the streaming service, we can expect 10 episodes of a “heartfelt odd couple love story revolving around the strange and beautiful bond” between the two men.
While not describing it as a reality show, the official logline reads: “Matthew and Woody’s friendship is tested when their combined families attempt to live together on Matthew’s ranch in Texas.”
Is any one else picturing Keeping Up With The McConaugheys and Harrelsons right now?
The series is created by David West Read of Schitt’s Creek fame and will be executive produced by Matthew and Woody.
The duo (and long-time friends) have previously worked together on a number of sets including 2008’s Surfer, Dude and 1999’s EDtv.
