Hugh Jackman Reveals His Skin Cancer Tests Came Back “NEGATIVE!!!”

News that’s no doubt a huge relief for Hugh Jackman, his loved ones, and all of us around the world who adore him – he doesn’t have skin cancer.

The Greatest Showman actor shared the update with his fans on social media, after undergoing two biopsies this week. His doctors were concerned he may have basal cell carcinoma but Hugh says the tests have all come back “NEGATIVE!!!”

“Thank you ALL for the love. I feel it!” Hugh writes on his Instagram stories. “And to the media for getting this very important message out. PLEASE REMEMBER TO WEAR SUNSCREEN WITH A HIGH LEVEL OF SPF (NO MATTER THE SEASON). Love, HJ.”

The news comes just a day after the beloved actor posted a video of himself on social media with a bandage on his nose.

“Please wear sunscreen. No matter how much you want a tan, trust me, trust me, trust me, please wear sunscreen. It’s just not worth it” he says in the clip.

According to The Skin Cancer Foundation, basal cell carcinoma is the most common form of skin cancer and most can be treated when caught early.

In other, non-skin-cancer-related news, Hugh Jackman has been working with good friend and fellow star Ryan Reynolds on the new Deadpool movie. It was announced in September last year that he would be joining the third instalment, reprising his role as Wolverine.

“Hard keeping my mouth sewn shut about this one,” Ryan captioned a video sharing the news on social media.
