Madonna is showing her support for fellow musician and long-time friend Britney Spears.
The superstar who collaborated with Britney in 2003 on the song “Me Against the Music,” shared a blunt message in her Instagram stories about Britney’s ongoing conservatorship battle.
“Give this woman her life back,” Madonna wrote over a pic of herself wearing a white tee with Britney’s name across it.

“Slavery was abolished so long ago! Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries,” she continues.
“This is a violation of human rights! Britney, we coming to get you out of jail!”

Madonna joins a number of celebrities who’ve expressed their support for Britney including Christina Aguilera, Halsey and Justin Timberlake.
