Well, we were already bawling our eyes out after actress Julia Stiles and her Dancing With The Stars partner Ezra Sosa were voted off the show this week. And now? We're crying all over again.
You see, in a goodbye message to Julia, Ezra shared a poem with her, much like the one she read out to Heath LEdger's character, Patrick, in their iconic movie, Ten Things I Hate About You.
Posting to socials, Ezra talks about how Julia is "a light that shines from so far", how she makes him laugh when he's down, holds his hand through tough times, and has become a piece of his heart through their dancing journey.
And as you can imagine, Julia can barely hold it together. The tears are flowing and she lets Ezra know how beautiful his words are.
Here's the poem in full. Get some tissues, trust me.
"I hate the way you doubt yourself, when I see everything you are.
I hate that you can't see the light that shines from so far.
I hate the way you say you're fine when I know you're in pain,
That on your hardest days, you'd get back up again.
I hate the way you trusted me, when you were terrified to try.
I hate the way you held my hand when things would fall apart,
That somewhere in the season you became a piece of my heart.
I hate that people saw the dances but not the battles you fought.
I hate that you'll never understand just how much you taught.
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little, not even at all."
