Margot Robbie has arrived at the next stop of her Barbie press tour, and it just so happens to be her birthday too!
The actor who is celebrating her 33rd trip around the sun, was welcomed to the stage with a hot pink birthday cake at a fan event in Seoul, South Korea which she attended with co-star America Ferrera and director Greta Gerwig.
Margot once again absolutely nailed her look, channeling a vintage working Barbie in a hot pink pencil skirt with matching blazer and a white hat, and later swapping into a glittering pink bodice with tulle skirt. The outfits were inspired by one of the dolls from 1984 according to her stylist Andrew Mukamal who shared a side by side of the looks on Instagram.
Margot, America and Greta were recently in Australia with Issa Rae for a number of Barbie promotional events whilst “the Kens” – aka Ryan Gosling and Simu Liu – attended a fan event in Ryan’s homeland of Canada. (You can see all the photos HERE.)
The Barbie movie which also stars Michael Cera, Will Ferrell, Ncuti Gatwa and more, is creating a buzz like we’ve never seen! There are collabs happening left, right and centre. From limited-edition hot pink X-box consoles, to an Airbnb home being turned into Barbie’s Malibu Dream House!
Up next, the cast will head to London, Berlin and New York ahead of the film’s release on July 20 in Australia and July 21 internationally.
