Rainn Wilson Hilariously Notices Passenger On His Flight Watching ‘The Office’

Rainn Wilson has captured a rather hilarious moment during a recent flight…

The actor, who famously portrayed Dwight Schrute on The Office, was sitting next to a passenger who was watching the hit series, unaware his seatmate was Dwight himself!

To be fair, Rainn was wearing a face mask, hat and headphones so it was probably a little difficult to recognise him.

Of course, Rainn pulled out his camera for the moment, shaking his head in a short clip he posted to his Insta story. He cleverly pans to the unsuspecting passenger who is digging into an in-flight meal, totally consumed by an episode of The Office. Dwight even appears on screen during the episode while Rainn is filming, making it all the more hilarious.

“When the person sitting next to you has no idea who you are…” Rainn captioned the clip.

Since posting the video, Rainn has also shared an update, revealing the unsuspecting passenger did eventually realise who was sitting next to him….about five hours into the flight!

Rainn recently starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story where he portrayed Dr. Demento. His next project is a book, Soul Boom: Why We Need A Spiritual Revolution, about reinventing spiritual ideas and creating transformation. It’s out on April 25 but you can pre-order now.
