Meadow Walker to Honour Dad’s Legacy With ‘Fast X’ Cameo

Meadow Walker will be appearing in the new Fast X movie!

The model – who is the daughter of late Fast and Furious star Paul Walker – has shared a behind-the-scenes pic of herself on the set of the upcoming Fast and Furious film. Captioning the photo on Instagram, she says she feels blessed to honour her dad’s legacy:

“The first Fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin (Diesel), Jordana (Brewster), Michelle (Rodriguez), Chris (Ludacris) and more on the monitors,” Meadow’s message begins.

“Thanks to my dad, I was born into the Fast family. I can’t believe now I get to be up there too. With those who have been around to see me grow up.”

Meadow goes on to thank the people who made her cameo possible including Fast X director Louis Leterrier and producer Brandon Birtell.

“I am so blessed to be able to honour my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x.”

Paul, who starred as Brian O’Conner in the Fast and Furious films, passed away in a car crash in 2013 at the age of 40. His brothers Caleb and Cody Walker stood in as body doubles for his character in Furious 7, following his death.

During his life, Paul started the nonprofit Reach Out Worldwide which sends first responders to disaster zones. The actor founded the organisation in 2010 following massive earthquakes that devastated Haiti.

Fast X will be in theatres May 19.
