Cookie Monster is responding to news a scientist has found a volcanic rock in Brazil that bears a striking resemblance to a certain cookie-loving muppet!
In a message posted to Twitter, the muppet writes, “Me no geologist, but me think dat rock look a lot like me.”

A video of the rock went viral earlier this week after it was originally posted on Facebook by a California-based gemologist named Mike Bowers who described it as an agate, a formation of gemstones.

It looks pretty ordinary and unexciting from the outside. Plain brown, rough and egg-shaped.
On the inside though…

The cross-section shows a geode that is light blue in colour with two circular formations on top resembling Cookie Monster’s eye balls and even a hollowed section which looks like Cookie Monster’s smile!
According to Kennedy News and Media, 33-year-old gemologist Lucas Fassari made the discovery in November last year.
