Lisa Kudrow Hilariously Responds to Courteney Cox Singing “Tony Danza” With Elton, Ed & Brandi

Lisa Kudrow has responded to that video of Courteney Cox singing with her celeb pals Elton John, Ed Sheeran and Brandi Carlile – and it’s hilarious.

You see, there was once this episode of Friends where Jennifer Aniston’s character, Rachel was discussing what the most romantic song in the world is and Lisa’s character, Phoebe responded with:

“The one Elton John wrote for that guy in Who’s The Boss.”

She then proceeds to sing Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” but mixes up the lyrics: “Hold me close young Tony Danzaaaaa.”

So today, when fellow Friends star Courteney Cox found herself in a room with some pretty epic singers, she got them to do a rendition of Phoebe’s Tiny Dancer:

In a post on Instagram, Lisa shared a video thanking Ed, Elton, Brandi and Courteney for “the most thrilling thing ever!”

And jokingly clarified they got it wrong, showing them how it’s meant to be done.

“But you know, what you did was great too. Including the original song, Sir Elton, that was really good,” she says.

Even actor Tony Danza himself weighed in on the little performance:

“You’ve made my day once again, I’m honoured!” he posted on Instagram.

Tony starred in Who’s The Boss alongside Alyssa Milano in the 80s:
